Kim Churchill grew up in a small town on the east coast of Australia called Merimbula, mainly known for surfing, oysters and whale watching. He set off in a van straight after high school to chase his dreams and surf his way across the country. In the first year he won the Byron Bluesfest Busking comp and became Folk Artist of the Year at the National Folk Festival. This led to adventures in Japan, North America and Europe. He signed major record deals with Warner, Atlantic Records (UK) and Universal (Europe). His song “Window to the Sky” became the most played song on Triple J, went on to be 42nd in the Hottest 100, and is Platinum in Australia, Gold in Canada and Germany and has over 50 million streams. In 2024, Kim returned with his eighth studio album “It's Lovely To Have You Here,” highly praised by industry and fans alike. Hitting home runs with singles "Hobbies," "Reflecting (Feat. Emily Brimlow),” and "The Wayside." Kim's sound will be heard throughout the European and Canadian festival seasons as well with extensive tours booked across both continents. Listen now on Spotify
