Melody Pool kann darauf verweisen, dass sie von den unterschiedlichsten Persönlichkeiten der internationalen Rock- und Pop-Szene eingeladen wurde, deren Vorprogramm in den größten Konzerthallen und Open Air-Arenen zu bestreiten. Dazu gehören u.A. The Eagles, Don Henley, Shawn Colvin und auch The Milk Carton Kids. Aber die Australierin mit der prägnanten Stimme muss gar kein name dropping ins Spiel bringen, um mit ihrem Können zu überzeugen. Sie hat sich auf ihrem Heimatkontinent eine Reputation als herausragende Singer-Songwriterin erarbeitet, die auch nicht vor Themen wie mentalen Problemen zurückschreckt. 2025 wurde ihr nun drittes Album veröffentlicht. Es heißt »Our Eternal Garden« und wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produzenten/Gitarristen Christopher Dale erarbeitet. Der wird sie auch auf der nun anstehenden Europa-Tournee begleiten.

She first gained national attention with her debut album The Hurting Scene in 2013, which led to a record deal with Mushroom Group and support slots for legendary artists including The Eagles, Don Henley, and Rodriguez. Her follow-up album, Deep Dark Savage Heart, delved into personal struggles with mental health and was the focus of a widely praised episode of ABC’s Australian Story. After a six-year hiatus, Pool returned with the 2023 EP Lost in Time, marking a powerful comeback and artistic rebirth.
Now, she continues her evolution with the upcoming release of her third studio album, Our Eternal Garden, recorded live to tape and produced by Christopher Dale. With a sound that fuses ‘60s folk, rock & roll, and psychedelic influences, Pool reaffirms her place as one of Australia’s most compelling and visionary voices.
