Lazy Haze started like any great friendship should: great music, amazing atmosphere, and copious amounts of passion. Devin (Lead Singer) and Kirwan (Lead Guitarist) dropped into each other's lives at the perfect time. Life was complicated for the two behind closed doors, but this only proved to be the perfect concoction for something great. The boys swiftly started writing songs on acoustic guitars in Kirwan's loungeroom, growing a faster and stronger bond with every string struck and note sung.
The two promptly had a solid setlist ready to take the stage at Indi Bar, Perth's cornerstone of up-and-coming musos, but were missing arguably the two most important things in a band: a solid drummer and a steady bass player. Ashton, Devin's younger brother, quickly made himself known and basically forced himself into the band as soon as he caught wind of the project. Ethan (Bassist) and his involvement would come a few gigs later, as the band's sound began to solidify into the perfect blend of gritty guitar riffs and punchy lyrics, creating a style that feels both nostalgic and distinctly their own.
