Career Highlights

- The Breakthrough: Hole spent over two decades playing the remote Australian club circuit. In 1990, he self-funded his debut album, Short Fuse Blues. On a whim, he mailed a copy to the US publication Guitar Player Magazine, prompting a rave review that launched his international career overnight.

- Alligator Records: The buzz caught the attention of Chicago's legendary Alligator Records, making Hole the very first non-US artist ever signed to the prestigious blues label.

ACCOLADES: His 1999 album, Under the Spell, won the ARIA Music Award for "Best Blues & Roots Album". His fiery musicianship has earned public praise from rock and blues legends like Metallica's Kirk Hammett and Gary Moore.
