Shows Are Standing Room OnlyRival Summers was the pop creative force between Detroit based singer/songwriter Leo Bautista and drummer and producer Sam Ridgell. From 2008 until 2023, Rival Summers transcended boundaries building a reputation for inspiring live shows and a dedicated fan base connected through their vulnerable, powerfully earnest songs. Their last album, Undeniable, released in 2016, memorialized their unbreakable bend toward hope in the midst of adversity. Funded entirely by their community via Kickstarter and produced by a dream collaborator, singer/songwriter and producer Jesse Barrera in San Diego, CA, the album saw Rival Summers reaching for greater and believing for more. Ten years later, Undeniable still stands as a testament that, with a little faith and help from your friends, nothing is impossible.
